South Willard is a gallery and project space located in Chinatown, Los Angeles.
Rooted in a regional California ethos, the space presents exhibitions with internationally recognized artists and also functions as a shop offering a rotating selection of objects, clothing, furniture, and printed matter. South Willard works with artists and designers whose practices move between disciplines, keeping the line between art, design, and everyday use intentionally open.
South Willard was founded in 2004 by Ryan Conder and Danielle Kays in a storefront at 8038 West 3rd Street in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
In 2023, Gordon Robichaux gallery mounted a show tracing the history and community of South Willard curated by the artists Matt Paweski and Matt Connors.
